晴れ、気温29度。私は品川でおばあさんを乗せた。彼女、「スイマセン、碑文谷までお願いします」。私は「わかりました」。彼女は聞く。「今日は土曜日？」。私、「いえ、金曜日です」。彼女、「あら！ どうも」。約5分後、道が混みだした。ついに私たちは渋滞にはまり込む。するとふたたび彼女、「土曜はいつもここ混むのよ〜」。私、「ええ、本当ダメですね」。心で叫ぶ。“今日は土曜日ではな〜〜い！” きっと彼女はいつも日曜日だ。夕方、私はラーメン屋に行った。そしてラーメンを食べた。私はラーメンが大好きだ！私はラーメンを食べ終わるとレジにいく。60歳ぐらいのおばさん店員がメモを見て聞く。「どうも、チャーシュー麺でしたね？」。私は「いえ、いえ、ラーメンです」。彼女はあわてて、「あっ、ごめんなさい！間違えたわ！」。ラーメン650円。私は１，０００円札を支払う。すると彼女はお釣り500円玉一枚、私に渡した。私は“おやっ!“と思い彼女の顔をみる。彼女は笑いながらウインクしてささやく。「ごめんなさい、いいのよ、また来てください」。私は思った。もしあと30歳彼女が若ければ、きっと、きっとかわいいに違いない・・・。売り上げ51,000円。いいぞ！

The weather was fine and the temperature was 29 degrees ℃. I picked up an old woman in Shinagawa. She said, “Excuse me. Please go to Himonya.” I said, “OK.” She asked me, “Is today Saturday?” I said, “No. Friday is.” She said, “Oh!? Thanks.” About 5 minutes after, the traffic was crowded. Finally, we joined the traffic jam. Then she said again, “Traffic is always crowded on Saturday!” I said, “Yes. It’s no good.” and yelled in my head, “No Saturday!” In the evening, I went to a noodle shop and ate Ramen. I like noodles very much. I finished eating Ramen and went to the register. The waitress who was about 60 years old checked my order and talked me, “Thank you. You ate Charshu Men, didn’t you?” I said, “No! I ate Ramen.” She was confused, “Oh! I’m sorry. I’m made a mistake.” That Ramen was 650 yen; I paid with a 1,000 yen bill. Next, she handed me my change a 500 yen coin. I opened my eyes wide and looked her face. She smiled and winked while whispering, “I’m sorry. Please come again.” I thought that if she was 30 years younger she would be very cute. I made 51,000 yen.
