今朝の東京の道路は、なんて空いているのだろう！ みんな盆休みを取っている。 天気は晴れ、そして私も気分が良い。 ギリシャのアテネではオリンピックが始まっている。 頑張れ日本！ オリンピックは世界の平和とスポーツの祭典だ。 午前中、私の仕事は暇だ！ 仕事のやる気は消えてしまう。 明日は終戦記念日である。 戦後、日本はとても貧しかった。でも今はとても豊かな社会である。 しかし、日本人の心は前よりも貧しい・・・たくさんの陽気な若者が今日も渋谷にはいる。 私達は戦争を忘れてはいけない・・・私たちはもう十分幸せだ・・・欲張ってはいけない・・・イラクでは内戦がまだ続いている・・・私はそんなことを考えた。 私は東京のあちこち流す。全く東京ではお盆の風情がない。 本当、それは寂しい・・・。 売り上げ４０，０００円。

What an easy drive on the roads of Tokyo this morning. Everybody has got the Bon festival holidays. The weather was fine and I was fine too. The Olympic Games were starting in Athens, Greece. Go! Go! Japan! The Olympics is a festival of sports and peace in the world. In the morning, my business was sick. My fighting spirit for work disappeared. The anniversary of the end World War 2 in Japan is tomorrow. Postwar Japan was a poor country, but now, Japan is rich society. But the Japanese heart is worse than before. … A lot of young cheerful people were in Shibuya again. We must not forget war. We are already happy enough. Don’t be so greedy! The civil war still continues in Iraq. I thought about that. I was working around Tokyo. Tokyo does not celebrate Bon festival. It was truly lonely. I made 40,000 yen.
